Saturday Spam

Hi!
I'm still here! I've been a very bad blogger lately, so thanks to all of you who stuck with me.

Today I won't be showing you one polish or some nail art I did, I'm going t be showing you lots! One of the reasons I don't post as much is that I've become overwhelmed with the amount of old swatches and manicures I've done, that never saw the light of day this in the blog, I find it hard to not post the new stuff I do, but then I end up not posting at all because I know that I have lots of old photos that still need some editing and posting...So, today, I finally decided that I should just post them all (or almost all, saved some reviews and manis I thought deserved more than just one photo).

Here they are:

2 coats of Ozotic 532 over black (lightbox)

2 coats of Ozotic 532 over black (shade)

2 coats of Revlon Royal Cloak

2 coats of Claire's no number

3 coats of H&M Take Me Tangerine

3 coats Flormar 444 (notice how the colour looks
completely different from the bottle)

2 coats of Hits Powerful

4 coats of Up Colors Cromoterapia
(didn't layer it over black)

2 coats of Yes Love K034 stamped with Kiko 399
(DRK-B plate)

1 coat of Cliché Madona over black
The red glitter is from Marylins 117 nail polish

2 coats of Essence Hazelnut Cream Pie,
stamped with Kiss nail art striper in black (DRK-B plate)

New Year's Eve/my birthday mani
2 coat's of Claire's matte black
1 coat of Essence Julia on the middle finger
Kiss nail art striper in white
Risqué Arábia on the cupcake base
Stamped with Essence Stampy Silver and plates DRK-B and CK-04

Ok, now I'm more up to date and I think I can manage the blogging better from now on. :P

Let me know what's your favourite look/nail polish on me. ^^

Ok, agora isto já fica mais actualizado e fica mais fácil para mim escolher o que postar a seguir. :P

Digam-me qual o vosso "look" preferido em mim! ^^

31 Days Challenge #18 - Half Moons

Now here's something I'd never done before and I'm not even sure I like this type of manicure, but I still wore it for a couple of days! It doesn't look perfect, I can see some flaws in it, but it still looked nice and I was happy with my colour choices.

This is Kiko #387 and Up Colors Verde 360º.

That's it for today, I'll leave you with a bonus photo of that night (not colour accurate)! :P

31 Days Challenge #5 - Blue

Doing this challenge has been really hard so far. I'm at my parents house for the month of August, close to all my friends, family and my boyfriend, and because of that I keep going out and having lots of fun and little to no time to do this properly, but I'm trying my best!

For today, I have a repeat combination, but in a differet way. Once again, I paired up Up Colors Azul Disco and Eyeko Rain and this is what came out of that:

The stamp was done with Kiss Nail Art in Black, using a m57 plate, by Konad.

Tomorrow I'll be sporting some nubs again, I broke the corner of one of my nails... -.-' Oh well, nothing I can do about it, and I think they still look cute while short. ^^

My new Drk-B!

Sometime during last week, I got a DRK-B plate that I ordered from Ninja Polish and I completely fell in love with it. I just love all the designs and I think it is my favourite plate so far.

After playing with it for a bit, and since I like my stamping to be soft and not really to stand out much, I went with 2 light colours, Eyeko Rain for the base and Up Colors Azul Disco for the stamping.

Here's the result:

I was really pleased with how it came out, even if you can't really see the stamp details due to my colour choices.
Guess I'll be stamping a lot more from now on...

Holographic gradient

HAH! 2 posts on the same day, bet you weren't expecting that! xD I just couldn't wait to show this gradient I did yesterday.

I broke a nail, on my left pointing finger, really short and I'm not used to having nails this short, so I had no idea of what to do with them...I painted them a light pink at first, but hated the washed out look and took it all off, then I think I spent quite an awful time trying to choose some colours that would look good together, I knew I wanted to do another gradient, but this time I wanted to do it with 2 completely different colours.

I started with 2 coats of Andreia #45 and sponged it with Up Colors Verde 360º, following this tutorial for a smooth transition both of them. Since Andreia #45 isn't holographic, I layered a coat of Hefesto over my gradient.

I really love how this turned out, so sweet and cute and probably one of my favourite manicures I have ever done. What do you all think? Better than my last one, no? xD

Up Colors Verde 360º with handplaced glitter

Hey everyone!

First of all, I'm so sorry for being away for so long, but with my brazilian friend here we spent all our time travelling around the country and I didn't have a chance to post or even do my nails properly. Hope you girls can forgive me for disappearing on you.

Today I bring you my favourite holographic nail polish so far, I'm in love with this colour and the holo is amazing! Even now, that it's dark here and I'm under a weak lamp, I can still see the holographic effect on it.
This one is really pigmented, it was perfect with 1 coat but I still applied 2, the brush on it was a bit weird though, I felt like it was too long, but I still did ok with it.

For the accent nail, I used some glitter that I bought while visiting Lisbon, it's from Essence and it's a loose glitter for nail art and I handplaced it one by one. This wasn't my idea, I took inspiration on Laura from Polish All the Nails and she has an awesome tutorial on how to achieve this look, I don't know how she does a full manicure with this though, it took me almost 1h to do only one nail and I gave up after that, didn't even do it on my right hand! xD But I do love how it looks, gotta love all the glitter! *-*

My pictures don't really show how much holography this nail polish has, the weather was quite crappy and cloudy when I took these...

And that's it for today!

PS - The giveaway has ended and I already know who's the winner, so expect  a post about that sometime tomorrow. Good night!
