Rainbow Challenge Day 2 - Orange

Oh damn...I only have 1 orange in my entire collection and I posted it not so long ago. What now? Oh well, I'll just try to make it look different, somehow...

So I did! This is Leticia Well #493 (review here) with Hits Hefesto on top of it.

Sorry I couldn't take more photos of it, but my camera decided to die on me... -.-'

This is reeeeeaaaally bright! Can you imagine how a bright holographic neon looks in the sun? I think every one looked at my nails today, they just wouldn't go unnoticed. I don't really like that kind of attention, but I'm sure I'll be rocking this mani again! Maybe when I'll go to the beach. ^^

Once again, here's the list of all the girls taking part of this challenge:

Oh, Cherry Blossoms! ♪

I was going to do some galaxy nails on friday, I even painted my nails a dark base coat, but then I got lost playing Guild Wars 2 Beta Event the entire weekend and by monday, my nails were chipped (probably from playing too much xD). Had no choice but to take it all out and do something else...So I went with cherry blossoms.

This is what I used:

- Risqué Pink Fluor
- Yolizul in white
- Leticia Well #146
- China Glaze For Audrey
- Striping brush
- Dotting tool
And here is the final result:

I think it looks a bit sloppy on my ring finger, it was the first time I did something like this, but I really think it turned out ok on my thumb. Anyone else agrees with me? :P

Leticia Well Profesional #140

I have my nails painted yellow for the first time EVER, and not just any yellow, it's a neon yellow! xD

I always thought that yellow was so not my colour, I'm very pale and I was afraid that it would make me look sick or washed out, but I was wrong! Must be because my hand's skin tone is more on the red side, but anyway, I'm loving my yellow nails. I need more of this in my collection, I only have 2 yellow nail polishes.

But onto the polish itself. Even though I love the colour, I have to say this was a streaky mess!! If it wasn't for that, I could have managed with just 2 coats, but it took 3 to even it out and make it look presentable. This nail polish dries matte, but I wouldn't leave it like that, as I could still see some streaks even with 3 coats, so to me, top coat is a must with this one.

On my ring finger I added a rhinestone, just to give this manicure an extra something.

Oh, my camera had a bit of trouble capturing it's true brightness so it looks more like a "normal" yellow in the photos, but trust me, it really is neon!

Never thought I'd say this, but I'm loving the neons this summer, I need MOOOOAAAARRR! xD

Leticia Well #???

And here's another Leticia Well that was sent to me for review, unfortunetaly, I can't really identify it since my bottle had no number on it. After browsing a bit on their website I think it is either #448 or #449,  I really can't be sure...

As you all may have noticed my favourite nail polish colour is blue (teal, aqua, or any other variation of it) and I wear it a lot, but as surprising as it may seem, I didn't own a "pure" blue until now, and I must say...I'm loving it!

This had a really nice formula, perfect coverage in 2 coats, easy application, easy to clean and it dried really fast! I usually apply Seche Vite right after finishing the last coat of nail polish and when I went to apply it on my left hand, the polish was already dry to the touch. I was pretty happy with this one, in all aspects.

Ok, here is the bad part...and it's something that I didn't mention in my previous post about this brand (and all other spanish brands, like Yes Love). Here, in Portugal, they are only sold in some chinese stores throughout the country and that makes it really difficult to get a hold of collections and even the brand sometimes, because one week they're sold at some store and the other week they're just nowhere to be found! Sure, there's an upside to all this, they only cost 1€ for a full bottle and have a pretty good formula, but I'd rather pay a bit more and find them in drugstores or even at the supermarket, that would make it so much easier for us to find what we want and need.

Leticia Well #493 Swatches and Review

Geez...It's hard to capture a neon nail polish on camera!

That's right, today I bring you a neon, they're going to be hot this summer, and although I'm not a fan of bright or neon colours I really liked this one.

I had to use 4 coats for it, but I think most people could get away with 3. It looks like a jelly to me, it has that squishy look and for 4 coats, it dried really fast. It didn't dry matte but not really glossy either, the photos were taken after I applied top coat.

I had a really hard time capturing this colour and my photos don't really show how neon this nail polish is, it was so bright that it even hurt my eyes sometimes!
