...that Barielle Elle's Spell could be layered over black? I surely didn't and I would have never thought of it if it wasn't for a post at PAA! Skye (hi, Skye!! xD), brought this to everyone's attention and I just had to try it!
I used 2 coats of my favourite black (Andreia 19, just because it's so easy to clean up), and dabbed Elle's Spell on my tips, with the exception of my ring finger that shows 2 coats of it over the black. Once again, I finished it all with Kiko's matte top coat. I just love me some matte flakies! :P

Born Pretty Store Goodies Review
Today I have some items from the Born Pretty Store for review. For those of you that still don't know, Born Pretty Store is an online store that has a lot of different items, especially in the nail art department.
I chose to review 2 of their nail polishes for stamping, the red and the yellow, and their 2 sided stamper. First I'll show you some photos of how they performed.
For the red stamping polish, I started with a base of Barielle Falling Star and then stamped with my DRK-B.
For the yellow stamping polish, I went with Color Club Revvvolution and stamped with the same plate.
There are links to all the products used here in this post and if you'd like to buy anything at the store, feel free to use my code to get 7% off your purchase.

As you can see, both of these stamp great, they're really easy to work with, I was able to pick them up with the stamper with no flaws and very easily, the only problem I have with these is that their colour seems to be a bit altered, especially the yellow one that turned green over Revvvolution.
The stamper worked really well for me too (I've been using it all summer) and here's some photos of it in action:

(yes, I use the small side to stamp my entire nail, except on my thumb xD)
The stamper came with a metal scapper but as most of you, I'd rather use an old credit card than the scapper itself, so I didn't even try it...

31 Day Challenge #1 - Red Nails
I've started another challenge! Some bloggers and I got together on Facebook and decided to take this challenge, so for the next 30 days, for better or worse, we're stuck with each other! It's going to be a long and fun journey. :P
We start with red and this is what I used:
My stamping is far from perfect (I'm still trying to get the hang of it), it turned out okay on some nails, not so great on the others, but overall, I'm quite happy with this look (even though I was considering it a fail last night), and Barielle Elle's Spell is so stunning!
I started with a coat of Risqué Carmim, this one looks like a jelly but it covers with just one coat, then I applied a coat of Barielle Elle's Spell and, finally, stamped with my DRK-B using Kiss Nail Art Paint in Black. I didn't want all my nails to look the same, so I stamped random parts of the image on random places of my nails.
